Not sure who needs to hear this, but a lead time on a new website designed for mate’s rates by a family member is typically 2-3 months. This is WAY TOO LONG IF YOU’RE SERIOUS ABOUT BUILDING A BUSINESS, AS OPPOSED TO A HOBBY.
Take away: if you’re going down the cheap website design / optimisation route specify a deadline first!
